The challenge
A national airtime and data reseller wanted to consolidate disconnected reseller portals into one modern experience without interrupting ongoing transactions.
We inherited a monolithic PHP system struggling with queue backlogs and manual settlement. Merchants demanded faster wallet funding, automated reconciliation, and a path to new revenue streams like gifting and recurring bundles.
How we solved it
We carved the core service into event-driven microservices, streamlining wallet operations, catalogue management, and audit trails. A Flutter-powered agent app launched alongside a back-office control tower built with NestJS and PostgreSQL.
Real-time fraud signals run via Redis streams, while analytics dashboards surface margin, churn, and liquidity alerts to business operators.
Impact
Within ten weeks, 12 million wallets migrated with zero downtime. Fraud detection windows dropped from five minutes to under sixty seconds, weekly release cadences became the norm, and partner integrations accelerated via documented APIs.
